Sierra Tech Web Design Process:
- Step One: Consultation
- An interview with one of our web design specialists. This is how we find out just what you want, and let you know how it can be done.
- Step Two: Project Proposal
- In this step, we will assemble a design proposal for your site. This is a preliminary site design. We will also give you an estimate of the development time and cost. We will have you review the proposal, and discuss any changes that need to be made. At this time, we will require you to sign a contract for work to be done and we will require a down payment on the site which must be at least half of the total estimated cost.
- Step Three: Site Design
- In this step, we will be working closely with you to develop the overall design and content on your site. After the site is finished we will have you review the and sign a contract stating that the site is complete and final, and that all additional changes will be billed at an hourly rate (with the exception of plan-included updates). At this time, payment in full is due, which will also include your first quarter of hosting if Sierra Tech will be hosting your site.
- Step Four: Publishing
- In this step, we will publish your site to your domain and register your site with search engines, using our automated registration software. You will be responsible for registering your site with search engines that do not accept automated registration. You are also responsible for promoting and marketing your site. After this step is complete, you will be billed quarterly for hosting fees if you are hosting with Sierra Tech Computers.
